Teachers at JKPS Kathua are not only committed to effective classroom teaching but they go beyond and become guides and mentors to students. It is our endeavour top foster independent thinking, exploration and experimentations as a lifelong learning process. Each staff member also imbibes the JKPS culture and ethos, which is the thread that binds the entire teaching fraternity of the JKPS.

From time to time, workshops and seminars are conducted for the staff regarding the latest teaching techniques available. For individual attention of the students, the teacher taught ratio is 1:15 especially at the pre and the junior level. Teachers use a students - centred style which instills confidence, initiative and the development of critical and analytical skills.
